A week before his fight with Lucas Mathysse, Philippine Ring Icon and senator by day, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao was hospitalized with a heart issue. According to a report, Pacquiao underwent testing which includes an angiogram that revealed an inborn health ailment. On Thursday, Aquiles Z. Zonio said in his report that the ring icon was quietly taken to the hospital 8th of July.
Zonio said that only a few members of Pacquiao's team went to the hospital with him for the testing. After the condition was discovered, doctors did not want Pacman to fight against Mathysse, however, Manny signed a waiver before his fight and left the country the following day for his trip to Kuala Lumpur.
Pacquiao was not even slowed in the ring despite the hospitalization and scares. Nine years after his first knockout win on 2009, he beat Mathysse by TKO. He fought without even telling his family about his health condition so as not to worry them.
