SEN. LACSON TAKE ON HOUSE POWER GRAB: Awkward, low, ugly, disgraceful

For more than an hour, Duterte’s Sona was delayed when former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo suddenly took her oath as the new Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Senator Panfilo Lacson said in his Twitter that power grabbing in the lower house is Awkward, low, ugly, and disgraceful.

Davao Del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez still acting as Speaker of the House during Duterte's 3rd SONA but later on the lower house officially elected Arroyo as the new Speaker.
