President Rodrigo R. Duterte has fired the entire Nayong Pilipino Foundation (NPF) board and officials for signing a contract agreement with Landing Resorts Philippines Development Corp. for 70 years.

The said were dismissed for alleged corruption for signing the lease agreement of what the Palace said is "grossly disadvantageous" to the government.
President said, “for a ridiculous long period of time of 70 years, beyond the lifetime of anyone,” Harry Roque said during the press conference at Malacanang.
